SOUTHWEST WILLISTON BASIN
Upper Three Forks / Bakken Horizontal Drilling Program

The South Sidney Project presents a unique opportunity to develop Upper Three Forks and Bakken oil reserves in a high-potential area of the Southwest Williston Basin
- Situated directly south of Elm Coulee Field and on trend with and bearing direct analogy to the “Lewis and Clark” Project currently being developed by Whiting
- Project area in the path of Bakken / Upper Three Forks development focusing on the anomalous Upper Three Forks resistivities and favorable source-reservoir geometries within the Upper and Lower Shale and Bakken maturity limits
- Active offset permitting and drilling activity continuing to prove up acreage
- Operators include EOG Resources, Whiting Petroleum, Continental Resources, Slawson Exploration, Fidelity E&P and ConocoPhillips
- Intense leasing competition within the project area
- 24,423 gross acres / 12,397 net acres
- 50% average working interest / 79% delivered net revenue interest
- New paid-up fee leases with 2 – 4 ½ year terms
- Leases cover all depths
- 9.7 net locations available on 1280-acre drill site spacing units and 19.4 net locations on 640-acre drill site spacing units
- Future additional locations available within each spacing unit
- Seller has control in 15 sections with >50% WI or largest leasehold owner
- Estimated total project potential of approximately 20 million barrels
(using 1 million barrels / section estimated recoverable oil)
- Upper Three Forks play has been confirmed by high-volume wells drilled by Whiting, Slawson and other operators
- Bakken has been developed in this portion of the basin for 50+ years
- Application of horizontal drilling technology and multi-stage completions has resulted in increased production rates and EUR’s
- Services and infrastructure to support development are expanding across area
